The response is cached for 24 hours per server replica, so repeat visitors hit a warm cache rather than the upstream API. We never round, shift, or otherwise alter what Aladhan returns — the minute on screen is the minute the API produced. Each capital page footer displays the exact method used so you can audit the source.

Every Daily Adhan capital page exposes a 30-day iCal feed link at the top of the prayer panel; clicking it downloads a file containing the next thirty days of prayer times for that city, with each prayer represented as a 20-minute event titled by name. To subscribe rather than import once, copy the feed URL and add it as a new calendar subscription in your app's settings — most apps refresh subscribed calendars every few hours, so newly published days appear without manual intervention. The feed regenerates each time you load the page, so the URL always serves the freshest thirty-day window. Time zones are embedded in the file, meaning events display correctly even when you travel.

Saudi Arabia uses Umm al-Qura (Fajr 18.5°, Isha = Maghrib + 90 minutes), North America uses ISNA (Fajr and Isha at 15°), Pakistan, India, and Bangladesh use the University of Islamic Sciences Karachi (18° / 18°), Egypt and the Levant use the Egyptian General Authority of Survey (19.5° / 17.5°), Turkey uses Diyanet, Iran uses the Tehran Institute of Geophysics, and France uses UOIF (12° / 12°). These conventions reflect what each country's official religious body publishes.

The widget inherits its method and timezone from the same data the public page uses, so iqamah times you broadcast on a mosque or community website stay consistent with what worshippers see on www.turbolearnailabs.com. There is no API key, no rate limit, and no attribution requirement, though a credit link back to the source page is always appreciated. The embed is mobile-responsive and dark-mode aware.

Daily Adhan is an independent project and is not affiliated with any individual mosque, school of fiqh, or national religious authority. What we publish is the prayer-time convention each country has officially adopted — for Saudi Arabia that is Umm al-Qura, for the United States it is ISNA, and so on — applied to the capital's coordinates. Your local masjid almost certainly uses the same convention for adhan times, since these are the methods national authorities promote, but iqamah times (the moment the congregational prayer actually starts) are a separate decision made by each mosque based on community needs and seasonal adjustments. For iqamah, defer to your masjid's printed schedule or website. If your local imam follows a different angle convention than the country default, prayer times here may sit a few minutes off — in that case treat Daily Adhan as a reference rather than a substitute.

Daily Adhan publishes 60 curated capitals plus Mecca and Medina rather than thousands of thin city pages, because we believe a small set of high-quality pages serves users better than mass-generated boilerplate. Each capital ships with a researched intro, a hand-picked mosque list with full addresses, country-specific FAQs, an iCal feed, an embeddable widget, and Aladhan-sourced prayer times — work that takes hours per city and that we cannot scale to every settlement on earth without sacrificing depth. The 60 we chose are the world's largest national capitals by metropolitan population, biased toward cities with significant Muslim communities, and we explicitly include Mecca and Medina even though they are not capitals because of their unmatched religious significance. Future expansion to secondary cities is on the roadmap, prioritised by user demand collected through the suggestion form.

To suggest a new city or report a correction, email hello@turbolearnailabs.com with the city name, the country it sits in, and a clear description of the change you would like to see — whether that is a missing mosque, an incorrect address, an outdated calculation method, or a new capital you would like added to the roster. We review every submission manually before deploying changes, typically within a week, and we may follow up by email if we need clarification on a source or a local convention. For mosque additions please include the full street address and, where possible, a website or social link we can use to verify the listing. Corrections backed by an official source — a national religious authority, the mosque's own publication, or a local imam — are processed fastest. Bug reports about the site itself are welcome at the same address.
