All prayer times published on Daily Adhan are calculated astronomically using the Aladhan API. They reflect computed positions of the sun (sunrise, solar noon, the angles of dawn and dusk twilight) for the geographic centre of each listed capital. They do not reflect direct observation, local moonsighting, or congregation-specific timing decisions.

Defer to your local mosque

Local mosques may publish iqamah (commencement) times that intentionally delay congregational prayer beyond the calculated adhan time, typically by 15 to 30 minutes. Some mosques follow alternative calculation methods or apply seasonal adjustments. For congregational prayer, always consult your local mosque's published schedule.

No religious authority

Daily Adhan is not a religious authority and does not issue fatwas, give rulings, or endorse particular interpretations. The site provides reference data and explanatory content only. For religious questions, please consult a qualified scholar or your local imam.

Date variability

Where we mention upcoming Islamic dates such as Ramadan or Eid, the dates shown are projections based on standard astronomical calculation. Local moonsighting authorities may confirm a different start date. We update our published dates as confirmations are issued by major regional moonsighting authorities.

Mosque listings on capital pages are drawn from public sources (mosque websites, community directories, official tourism boards, news articles).
